The Dutchman’s Stash is a Doc-u-book, which is a book that tells a story through documents and commentary by an Editor. The Dutchman’s Stash is Doc-u-book one in the Dutchman Trilogy. It details the history of the Haunted Burns Ranch and its cursed treasures. The Haunted Burns Ranch is the site where Indians took Henry Burns after kidnapping him in the 1800’s. Released when 18 years old, Henry served in World War I. After the war, Henry wed Helen and they officially establishment the Burns Ranch in the 1940’s. It was on the very site where Henry had been held captive by the Indians. In the 1960’s Henry died at the Ranch from wounds he received during an ambush while transporting goods and precious metals to California. Henry believed his partner was in on the ambush because he wanted the treasure and Helen for himself. Before he gave up the ghost, Henry cursed the treasures he and Helen had hidden there. One of these treasures is the Dutchman Stash treasure. This Dutchman is the famed Dutchman of the legendary Lost Dutchman Mine in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona.
In 1970 Helen took two bullets to the head at the Burns Ranch and died in a local hospital. In the 1970’s prospector and treasure hunter Charles “Chuck” Crawford investigated the Ranch and its cursed treasures. In the late 1990’s newspaperman David Hinchliffe published articles on his own investigation into the Ranch and its cursed treasures. In the intervening years, from Crawford’s investigation to Hinchliffe’s investigation, many searched for the cursed treasures, and more than one lost their life at the Ranch while searching. In the 2000’s writer Emory Taylor and treasure hunter Rick Gwynne investigated the Ranch and its cursed treasure, discovering the German Holy Stones, and having the haunting investigated by Paranormal Investigations. General relativity has allowed a better understanding of the structure of the universe.
